Juan Cruz
Abstract
This study presents the development of a web-based platform designed to improve community disaster preparedness and emergency resource coordination. The system provides features for recording household information, identifying available community resources, managing evacuation information, reporting emergency incidents, and coordinating available resources during disaster situations. It also provides administrators with dashboards and reports for monitoring preparedness activities and resource availability. The system was developed using an iterative software development methodology and evaluated according to functionality, usability, reliability, performance efficiency, and security. The proposed platform aims to provide communities with a centralized information system that can support preparedness planning and improve the coordination of resources during emergency situations.
